How much will it
cost to ship?
We at furniture4schools respect you and your hard-earned money. We
strive to save you as much money as possible. To this end, we have negotiated
steep discounts with many of the nation's largest carriers, and our savings
become your savings! We do not use freight and shipping charges as a profit
center. The actually charges we pay the freight carriers are passed along to
you. Trust us - if you compare our bottom line with other online furniture
dealers, the savings will be apparent!
There are two modes of
shipping:
- UPS
/ FedEx/DHL - smaller products can be shipped via UPS, FedEx or DHL. When
UPS, FedEx ir DHL make a delivery, they will carry the cartons off of
their truck and into the first dry area of your building.
- Standard
Delivery
- Larger
shipments must be shipped on a truck. When goods are shipped via Standard
Delivery using a common carrier (Yellow, Con-Way, ABF, Roadway, etc.) the
standard delivery is called "tailgate delivery" which means the
truck driver is only responsible to move the furniture to the tailgate
(back) of the trailer. You are responsible to unload the furniture from
the truck and carry it into your building.
Notify before delivery:
As a service to our customers, we offer notification before your order is
delivered at no additional charge. When a
shipment will be ready to deliver, the trucking company will call you within 24
hours (approximately) to arrange for a convenient time for the delivery.
How is furniture delivered?
That depends on the item and its weight and size.
Methods include UPS, tailgate, and inside delivery. When you call 888.316.7572
your Sales Representative can assist you in choosing the most convenient and
cost-effective method for your situation.
What is tailgate delivery?
Most large non-UPS-able products are shipped tailgate delivery. This is
the most economical delivery available. It means the driver will bring the
product to the back of the truck. Someone from your company or building will
have to move the item into your building.

What is inside delivery?
Inside delivery involves a moving company bringing
your product(s) into your facility. This prevents you from having to go out to
the back of the truck and unload your merchandise. Additional charges and
delivery time (1 – 2 weeks) apply. Call 888.316.7572 for details.
How much will my delivery cost?
Delivery charges vary, generally adding 15 - 20% to
the merchandise cost. Some high-value, lower-weight products are less and other
large, low-cost products are somewhat higher. Please call 888.316.7572 and a
Sales Representative will give you a guaranteed rate.
How long will it be before my product(s)
arrive?
- Stocked
at our Distribution
Center -- products
arrive in 1-2 weeks
- Quick-Ship
-- products arrive in about 2 weeks
- Standard
ship -- products arrive in three to four weeks
Express
delivery means your order will be delivered in a few days,
not weeks. Some products are stocked locally. If you need items in a hurry, ask
your Sales Representative if express delivery is available for product(s) you

Can you ship my product assembled?
Many of the products on our web site ship fully
assembled. Others require minimal assembly. Please call 888.316.7572 for a

Can I pick up my own order?
This is possible but varies by location because
products ship from all over the United
